William A. Martin's Obituary
William A. Martin, 85, of Culpeper, VA, died February 28, 2013 at Dogwood Village Nursing Home in Orange, VA.
He was born December 31, 1927, in Nelson County, VA., the oldest of three sons. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic, and retired from William A. Hazel as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Mr. Martin was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his four children; Robert L. Martin of Orange, VA, William F. Martin of Asheboro, NC, Wayne E. Martin of Manassas, VA, and Frances L. Payne of Stafford, VA. He is also survived by two brothers; Charles Martin and Stanley Martin; six grandchildren, Gina Cooper, Melissa Martin, Bradford Martin, Lauren Payne, Cody Payne, and Travis Martin; and four great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
