William Walter Hoak's Obituary
William Walter Hoak, 62, of Bealeton, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post # 15048 and American Legion Post # 0141. William retired from the City of Fredericksburg Public Works division after many years of service.
William is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley; two sons, Derek R. Hoak of Partlow and Brad J. Hoak of Bealeton; a daughter, Katrina Wright and her husband, Richard of Kentucky; his mother, Hattie Pittner of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren and his best friend, Buddy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Inurnment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, William’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Heartland Hospice, 400 Holiday Court, Suite 101, Warrenton, VA 20186.
