William Henry "Joe" Alther's Obituary
William Henry “Joe” Alther, of Rixeyville, VA passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
He was a tree surgeon for many years. He loved fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois Alther; two daughters, Connie Burke (Ricky) of Rixeyville, VA, and Tracy Woodward (Benji) of Castleton, VA; one brother, Floyd Alther of Luray, VA; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. John Burke officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
