My oldest memories of Bill Dunn are from when I was a youngster and my mother's young, energetic cousins would visit West Pittston. They were closer in age to my oldest brother, Steve, than to my mother, so Steve effectively shared a generational connection with them. My latest memories of Bill come from our annual family reunions. He always spoke softly, but with the intellectual authority of someone educated and informed beyond most of us in a family that revere's intellectual capacity. On a personal level, he was always interested in me and my family and our overarching Tilley family relationships. I will miss seeing Bill again and will always fondly remember him with deepest respect for the man he was.
