William "Cecil" Denbo's Obituary
William “Cecil” Denbo, 100, of Rocky Mount, NC, formerly of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Rocky Mount Rehabilitation Center.
Cecil was a retired sheet metal worker for heating and air companies. He was an avid crafter and handyman.
Cecil is survived by his daughter, Linda G. Thomas and her husband, Robert; a son, William Michael Denbo, all of Alexandria; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and nephews; and his ten beloved dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Maxine Denbo; and a son, Richard L. Denbo.
Cecil’s family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Cecil’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the SPCA of Fredericksburg, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
