William Wilson "Billy" Costello, Sr.'s Obituary
William Wilson “Billy” Costello, Sr., 79, of Locust Grove, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born October 4, 1939 to the late Frank and Rocksie Costello.
Mr. Costello owned and operated Costello Plumbing & Heating for 50 years. He was a wonderful husband and friend and his best job was being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He took great pride in his family and they never disrespected him. He was an avid donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and was always willing to help out family. He loved his church, his pastor and his Lord above all. He was a friend to everyone and anyone that knew him loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Costello; two daughters, Tammy Hartley and her husband, Troy, and Teresa Harris; one son, Timothy Costello; three brothers, Edward, Robert and Clarence Costello; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William “Billy” Costello, Jr.; three brothers; and one sister.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at First Century Baptist Church, 19111 Batna Rd., Culpeper, VA with Pastor Lee Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Costello, Michael Standridge, William Standridge, Andrew Tucker, Robert Harris, Jason Ritchie and Christopher Costello. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Hartley and Dawson Parker.
