William Pierce Campbell's Obituary
William Pierce Campbell, 74 of Culpeper died Friday, October 29, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Campbell was born February 9, 1936 in Viewtown to the late Raymond William Campbell and Thelma Irene Pierce Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Madison. He was a mechanic and the love of his life was fixing, painting, rebuilding cars. He was a sports fan who enjoyed supporting the Washington Redskins and the Washington Nationals.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Lou Campbell, one daughter, Brenda Kay James and her husband, Jesse of Goldvien, one son, William "Tony" Campbell of Culpeper and two granddaughters, Tera Renee Madison and her husband, Chris of Manassas and Tanya Nicole James.
He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Karissa, Kearstin, Kenzington and Darian, a nephew, Jeffery Campbell, a niece, Debbie Driggers, two special friends, Mattie Aylor and Bill Lamb.
Additional survivors include a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Jack Campbell and one sister, Lottie Mae Campbell.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 1, 2010 from 7 - 9 pm at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 1:30 pm in Found and Sons Chapel with the Pastor Dale Freeman officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
