William Ranger Bowling Sr.'s Obituary
William Ranger Bowling, Sr., 74 of Spotsylvania County, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
William worked for the Virginia Roofing Company for 42 years retiring as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris; two daughters, Sherri Fletcher and her husband, Paul of Orange and Jennifer Bowling of Spotsylvania; four sons, William R. Bowling, Jr. and his wife, Debra of Maryland, Robert C. Bowling and his wife, Christina of Locust Grove, Tony Bowling and his wife, Laurie of Unionville and Steven Bowling and his wife, Linda of Mine Run; a sister, Eleanor Hartsook and her husband, Harlen of West Virginia; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 13 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Daniel Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
