Wendi Wilson Lewellyn's Obituary
Wendi Wilson Lewellyn, 87, of Culpeper passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1927 in Reidsville, NC to the late Henry and Sadie McCollough Wilson.
Mrs. Lewellyn was an active member of Culpeper United Methodist Church. She served as a Stephen Minister at Belmont United Methodist Church in Richmond, VA.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Lewellyn and his wife, Debra; her daughter-in-law, Carol Atkinson Lewellyn, surviving spouse of C. Bryan Lewellyn, Jr. ; three siblings, Edna King, Mable Coller and Oliver Steven Wilson; three grandchildren, Brittany Lewellyn Hedrick and her husband, Shane, Benjamin K. Lewellyn and V. Morgan Lewellyn; and two great grandchildren, Adaleigh Jane and Isadora Grace Hedrick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, C. Bryan Lewellyn, Jr.; and three siblings, Helen Wilson, Maureen Terry and Cleo Wilson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 3 pm at Culpeper United Methodist Church with Rev. Norma Jean Fellows officiating.
Interment will be held in Reidsville, NC at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701.
