Wayne Shelton's Obituary
Wayne B. Shelton, 68, of Spotsylvania County passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at his home.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and for the past 30 years he was a member of the American Legion Post #320. Wayne retired as a master mechanic with the IUOE Local 77 and was a avid fan of the Washington Redskins and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Wayne is survived by two sons, Robert W. Shelton and his wife, Lori of Spotsylvania and Gregory L. Shelton and his wife, Sharon of Fredericksburg; five grandchildren, Dwayne, Julia Nicole, Karstin, Justin and Jordan; one great-grandchild, Kylie; a sister and five brothers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 8, 2008 at 3:30 pm at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
