Wayne Douglas Cash's Obituary
Wayne Douglas Cash, 70, of Spotsylvania County, was reunited in heaven with his Lord, his parents, and a sister.
He was multi-talented and creative in so many ways. Wayne loved to arrange flowers, plan events, and catering. He was a good listener, loved to talk, and was always willing to help everyone. Wayne worked for many years for Alexandria Drywall and was a longtime employee of Miller Funeral Home. He was a member of Zoan Baptist Church.
Wayne is survived by two sisters, Faye Cash-Heishman and Patricia Martini; nieces and nephews, Shawndra Fisher, Danitta Martini Kay, Stephanie Hefner, Joshua Cobb, and Tripp Martini; great nieces and nephews, Colby Kay, Ross Hefner, Alexis, Grace, and Cullen Cobb, Owen and Malley Martini; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Mallie Cash; and sister, Hazel Cash Cobb.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024 in Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA.
