Warren Dennis' Obituary
Warren E. Dennis, 82, of Yellow Spring, WV died on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. He was born in Hagerstown, MD on June 24, 1926 to the late William Benton Dennis and Alice Viola Zombro Dennis.
Warren and his wife were longtime residents of Castleton, VA. He graduated from Rockwell School of Tuning in Clearfield, PA in 1947 and was a piano tuner for over 40 years. He was an avid and talented musician, loved flying and was a veteran of WWII in the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Fellowship Assembly of God in Washington, VA.
He is survived by his two daughters, Ruth Pugh of Fredericksburg, VA and Yvonne See of Yellow Spring, WV, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Lolita Henderson, Colleen Lewis and Joy Scott and one brother, Richard Dennis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary E. Dennis, two sisters, Gloria O’steen and Ruth Beddingfield, two brothers, William B. Dennis, Jr. and Thomas J. Dennis and one granddaughter.
