Wanda Darnell Lynch's Obituary
Wanda D. Lynch was born on February 11, 1956 and called home on August 21, 2023 to be with the Lord and family who had passed before her. She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Gordon Lynch; her three daughters, Jennifer Harper (Bryan), Lisa Lynch (Nathan), and Lori Stowe (Chris); her grandchildren Brittany Harper, Kaleb Stowe (Kayla), Colby Plummer, Haley Stowe, Claire Plummer, and the two most recent lights of her life, twin great-grandsons Jameson and Deacon Stowe; her two brothers Roy Haynes Sr. and Joseph Haynes (Gail), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda lived in Fredericksburg her entire life; however, her favorite place to spend time was at the beach. No matter where she was, Wanda never met a stranger. Anyone that knew her was sure to know how much she loved her family and how much she loved to brag on her grandchildren and great-grandsons. As a lover of animals, she enjoyed caring for all the pets within her family and wildlife in her backyard. She poured her heart into cooking big meals for her family, especially during the holidays. And she especially enjoyed spoiling her family through shopping as an outlet of her love.
She was proceeded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Margaret Haynes; father and mother in-law, Delbert and Logean Lynch; her brother Earl Haynes Jr.; and her cousin Gail Arrington.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Her family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
