Wanda Sue Green's Obituary
Wanda Sue Green, 62, of Spotsylvania passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Wanda was deeply loved and cherished by her family. Wanda worked for Mary Washington Hospital for 20 years until her retirement and then worked an additional 19 years both full and part time for Walmart. She had an excellent work ethic. She always made sure things were done correctly regardless of how difficult that may be. It was said that her work ethic showed up at work even before she did. She had a few sayings that she would repeat to those around her that signified her life for both work and family. “They haven’t beat us yet” and “When God closes one door, he opens another. Wanda was an extremely generous person and would give you the shirt off of her back, and even more for her family.
Wanda is survived by her sisters, Virginia Honan (Rick), and Brenda Green, both of Mississippi; two brothers, Dale Green of Boyington VA, and Galen Green of Fredericksburg; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and close friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Sallie Green.
A private service will be held at a later date.
