Walter Everett Duke III's Obituary
Walter E Duke III (Dukie) 48 of Spotsylvania departed this life unexpectedly on March 19, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter E Duke Jr and Rite Sue Duke and a brother John W Duke and Stepson Jonathan Lecas.
Walter is survived by his daughter Michelle A Hix, (Danny), grandchildren Mackinzie Hix, Daniel Hix Jr, son Walter E Duke IV (Dooley), son John W Duke (Gizzy), and bonus children Dakota Bogle, Hayley Lecas, and Shelby Lecas. Sisters Daisy Robbins (Everett) nephew Hunter Robbins and Carrie Duke Nieces Diana and Ashley Aimbez.
Walter had a great love for family. He had the biggest heart and an even bigger smile. One of his biggest joys was being a father and a Pop Pop. He also enjoyed riding his harley on nice days and loved to fish.
A graveside service will be held on April 22,2023 at 1:00pm at the Duke Family Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at Chewning Park located at 13013 Post Oak Road Spotsylvania.
The family asks that if anyone would like to send flowers please refrain from doing so until days before the funeral and send them to 2109 Mount Olive Road Beaverdam, Virginia 23015.
