Wallace Albert Carder's Obituary
Wallace Albert Carder, 88 of Culpeper, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born July 21, 1918 to the late Bernard Amos and Jessie Mae Carder.
Mr. Carder was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. Phoenix Lodge #59 and American Legion Post #330. He was a retired Inspector for the Rochester Corp.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Margaret Smith Carder, his children, Wayne Burnette Carder and his wife, Christine May of Brightwood, his grandchildren, Edward Carder of Charlottesville, Ginger Breckenridge of Crofton, MD, and three brothers, Russell Carder of Culpeper, Harold Carder of Sun City, FL, and Cecil Carder of King of Prussia, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Arlene Carder, and two brothers, Silas William Carder and Melvin Amos Carder.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Ted Fuson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Edward Carder, Larry Dinkel, Melvin Carder, Lewis Walker, Terry Marshall, Thomas Jenkins, John Breckenridge, David Dinkel, and Charles Reese.
