There is a port of no return, where ships
May ride at anchor for a little space
And then, some starless night, the cable slips,
Leaving an eddy at the mooring place . . .
Gulls, veer no longer. Sailor, rest your oar.
No tangled wreckage will be washed ashore.
(Lost Harbor by Leslie Nelson Jennings)
Rest your oar shipmate,
Your buddy and shipmate Lance Alderman
A hard woking friendly coworker, I'm going to miss you Wally.
Wally was a dedicated support contractor to the FAA. He will be terribly missed. Despite his illness, he continued to do his very best to provide quality support.
Wherever he is now, I am pretty sure that he is smiling on us.
Sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Wally’s passing. Wally was such a great co-worker. I will miss you Sir! I’ll cherish all the happy memories and pray for your soul. My family extends our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Gail Peterson and family. Goodbye Wally and rest in peace.
I had the greatest respect for Wally. He was very knowledgeable in his field. He was very kind, in his gruff sort of way. He was a true gentleman and I will miss our verbal sparing, always with a smile. Fare thee well!
