Wade Shelby Alther's Obituary
Wade Shelby Alther, 60, of Culpeper died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at his residence.
Wade was born August 30, 1951 in Front Royal to the late Willie Alther and Neva Clarice Whorton Alther.
Wade was a lifelong self-employed house painter, tradesman and handyman.
Wade is survived by his wife Jaunita A. Alther and their two sons, Tony and Keith Alther, all of Rixeyville, two grandchildren, Caroline and Justin Alther both of Richmond. Wade is also survived by his two brothers, Joe Alther and his wife, Lois of Rixeyville and Floyd Alther of Rappahannock County. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family friends and loved ones.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Jeffersonton with Rev. John K. Burke officiating.
