Virginia Jenny Lane Bundy's Obituary
Virginia “Jenny” Lane Bundy, 82, of Culpeper peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1924 in Stevensburg, VA to the late Emma Lewis.
Mrs. Bundy was a domestic worker for many years until her health began to fail. She was the greatest mother, grandmother, and friend. Some of her greatest joys of life was shopping, cooking, and being with her family and friends. She touched everyone she came in contact with.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Gerald “Jerry” T. Lane of Grottes, VA, Robert W. Lane “Bobby” and his wife, Patsy of Culpeper, five daughters, Ella F. Kay and her husband, Robert Kay of Fredericksburg, VA, Jannette M. Rogers “Pat” and her husband, Walter Rogers “Sonny” of Leon, VA, Dorothy A. Scott “Finney” and her husband, Earl, Rosa Lee Stanley and friend, Nathaniel Jasper, and Carolyn L. Grayson and friend, James Lee all of Culpeper, VA and one daughter-in-law, Charlotte Lane of Capitol Heights, MD.
Additional survivors include seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, very special friends, Yvonne Hepa, Mary Kovi, Mary Perry and Thelma Carpenter.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Dan Lane, and her second husband, Thomas R. Bundy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ludwell Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (Old).
Pallbearers will be Charles Grayson, Steve Elkins, Ronald Holmes, Steve Mills, Joe Stanley, and Lowe Banks.
