Virginia Hayden's Obituary
Virginia P. Hayden, 90, of Fredericksburg died Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Virginia was born in Caroline County to the late, Willie and Hattie Pavey. She was a member of Massaponax Baptist Church.
Virginia is survived by her children, Catherine Spindle and her husband, Elmer, A. LaVerne Perin and Cecil Hayden and his wife, Shirley, all of Fredericksburg; a sister, Thelma Newton of Richmond; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Cecil James Hayden and her son-in-law, Franklin William Bill Perin, Jr.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 31, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 12:00 pm the funeral chapel with the Revs. John Edmonds and Cecil McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006.
