Virginia Lee Carter's Obituary
Virginia L. Carter, 96, of Brandy Station, VA passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Virginia was born on August 12, 1923 to the late Archie and Essie Lacy.
She was a lifetime member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Brandy Station, VA.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Carter Jr.; her son and daughter-in- law, Marshall Carter III and Janet Carter; and thirteen brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert Lacy and his wife, Carol, and Fred Lacy and his wife, Mildred; one grandson, Brian C. Carter (Monica) of Brandy Station, VA; one very special niece, Margarite Thomas (Charles) of Takoma Park, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Reese Washington officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
