Virgilene D. Johnson's Obituary
Virgilene D. Johnson, 84, of Elkwood, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Hospice House of the Piedmont.
Virgilene enjoyed playing basketball, cross-stitching, crocheting and art. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Virgilene is survived by her daughter, Paula Stephenson (Gil) of Elkwood; four granddaughters, Amanda, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Stephanie; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Donald (Aleen) of Hartwood; niece, Pamela Goforth (Chris) of Bowling Green; nephew, Bruce Donald of Hartwood; and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Johnson and son, Gary Johnson.
Virgilene’s family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Lowell Self officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
