I have nothing but pleasant memories of Aunt Lucille. She was always so kind and generous to everyone, especially her family. She was gracious to open her home to me to stay until I could get on my feet in Washington. I will miss her very much.
Lucy was such a nice lady and she led a really interesting life. She was a great neighbor and friend to my Mom. They had a lot of good times together. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
I will always have fond memories of Lucy from the time we met at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok in 1967; visiting her during her Berlin tour; seeing her while I was on home leave when she lived in Phoenix and then Payson; her visiting me while I was stationed in Geneva; and lastly to visiting her many times in Culpeper after I retired. She was a true gem and there will never be another like her. She will be sadly missed. Rest easy my friend; rest easy. Much love, Jan
I have such fond memories of seeing Aunt Lucille, especially after her jaunts around the world. I loved hearing her tales about such places as Thailand and the Philippines. Aunt Lucille opened her home and her heart to my young daughter and me, allowing us to live with her in Arlington, Va when while looking for work. It gave us our start in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She will always have a special place in our heart.
Lucy was a wonderful neighbor. She always had a warm smile and a kind word. She loved the neighborhood and especially loved her cats. Lucy was a fantastic community volunteer until she could no longer volunteer. Shec2ascacvery sweet lady, who will be missed but never forgotten.
