I am so sorry for your loss. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
As I say farewell to my dearest friend today, I am so thankful that she has been in my life for so many years. Lee had a loving, careing heart. To her family I'd like to say that she loved all of you so very much. As we shared memories, hard times and laughter through the years it was so obvious how proud of each of you she was. Both as individuals and as a family.
While I never met the families of the children Lee cared for , you know better than I that she loved your children deeply. That was evident by the care Lee gave them each day.
My life has been blessed by our longstanding friendship. We even shared the same birth month.
The tears I shed, even as I write this, are selfish tears. I will miss her. But I am thankful she now has no pain, and is at rest.
Thank you Lee for the many sweet memories that will carry me, your family and friends, through the difficult days and times ahead.
