Vernon L. Morris' Obituary
Vernon L. Morris received his wings on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 after a courageous four year fight with cancer.
He was born on August 15, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana. Vernon was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After serving his country, he had a career as an electronics engineer in Naval Civil Service where he helped design a computer for the Aegis missile defense system. After retirement, Vernon co-founded Gold Medallion Homes, builders of new homes, and he invested in and sold real estate. Vernon installed computer network systems for businesses, and later became a day trader. First and foremost, he was a devoted husband and father. Vernon’s family always came first. He will always be our hero.
