Desiree Turnage-Cox
I met Jello in 2008 at the 4c’s diner here in our town of Culpeper. From that first time I sat down and joined his “coffee group” he had a light in his eyes that was warm and welcoming. His beautiful smile and non-stop sense of humor kept me laughing all the time. I would refer to him as “My Jello” and everyone at the table would always make fun of us as I came over and gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek ! What a blessing to have known such a fine man who not only served his Country, but his community as well in the DC Fire Department. I am proud to have been his friend and he will always have a very special place in my heart. We always knew he was an Angel and now it’s official. You will truly be missed my sweet Jello may you Rest In Peace and one day we will see you again. Love, Desiree and Dwight
