Una Elizabeth Murphy's Obituary
Una Elizabeth Murphy, 84, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at her residence in Stanley, VA. She was born June 12, 1932 to the late Lula Collins in Virginia.
Una enjoyed making quilts.
Una is survived by her daughter, Brenda Sue Villagomez and her husband, Javier Villagomes of Stanley, VA; her very special companion, Roy Berry, Jr. Her grandchildren; Derick Emmel and wife, Stephanie of Culpeper, VA, Donna Harris and husband Donnie of New Albany, Indiana, and Alexander and Caleb Lawler of Orlean, VA several great grandchildren and her siblings, Mary Leslie Hicks and husband Carl of Kingspoert, TN, Oscar Howington and wife Virginia of Rixeyville, VA, and Earl Howington of Dowingtown, PA; two very special nieces, Bessie and Kimberly Butler of Culpeper, VA.
In addition to Una’s mother, she is preceded in death by her daughters, Patty Irene Emmel and Samantha Lawler; and her two husbands, John Jay Harlley and Amos Murphy.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Jeffersonton Baptist Church Cemetery, 18498 Springs Road, Jeffersonton, VA 22724. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
