It is so hard to believe that I lost such a great friend as TJ! Although sometimes our conversations would end in us wanting to rip the other ones head off we somehow always came back to a mutual understanding of the other ones feelings or opinion… I have so many great memories with TJ and I will always hold these very dear to my heart! TJ enlighten me to a world of books, controversial music, and a different view of the government which always kind of made me chuckle! TJ was like a brother to me and I am going to miss him so dearly! One of the funniest memories I have about TJ but just showed how different we were him being a west coaster and me being an east coaster my whole life… it was actually the first time I met his little sister Noel he said to me “ Lisa where can I play mini golf? “
“ mini golf? What are you talking about? “
I can feel the frustration growing in him as he said this to me…
“ you know mini golf… You play with multi colored golf balls on many courses that test your skills because some of them you have to do awkward things on… “
“ oh… You mean putt putt?
“ put putt? “ he replied kind of check lying but in a confuse sort of manner…
“ yeah… Putt putt! We don’t collect mini golf on the East Coast… It is called put put golf! “
TJ Soum replied with a stern under town... “ well I have called it mini golf my whole life and I don’t plan on changing it now so where can I play some mini golf? And because it wouldn’t be me and TJ without one of us giving the other one a hard time I replied… “ i’m not sure where you can play some mini golf at… You can play some putt putt though at Central Park! “
TJ got quiet for about a minute then we both busted out laughing we were so different but got along so well and I will truly always miss him forever! I just want to send my condolences to grandma, aunt, Mom, and little sister! Also I want to have a chance to think Tony for introducing me and TJ whom which I’ve made have never have met if it wasn’t for Tony!
