Turner Hitt's Obituary
Turner Roy Hitt, 88, of Culpeper, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 22, 1919 in Rappahannock County to the late William Hitt and the late Delsie Butler Hitt.
Mr. Hitt is survived by three siblings, Downing D. W. Hitt and his wife, Betty, of Castleton, Virginia, Irma Jenkins of Washington, Virginia, and Lucy Dellinger Kube and her husband, Bob of Broad Run, Virginia, a special niece, Janet Robey, and her husband, Terry, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lelia Hitt, and twelve siblings, Charlie, Lewis, Arthur, Taylor, Robert, Horace and Herbert Hitt, Jesse Weakley, Anne Weakley, Eva Snyder, Lena Shifflett and Grace Green.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Chad Whaley officiating.
