Trudy Gay Kramer's Obituary
Trudy Gay Kramer (Broeckaert), 82, went home to be with the lord on August 4, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Trudy was born on July 6, 1943 in Gladstone, Michigan, to the late John Kenneth and Genevieve Elaine Broeckaert. Trudy was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed going to Zumba and young at heart classes, thrift store shopping, luncheons with friends, and going shopping in old town Occoquan.
Trudy is survived by her children, Dennis Peter Jr. (April), Denise Lynn, and Carson Wayne; three grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah, and Kimberly; brother, Jack (Paulette) in Wisconsin; and some niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dennis Peter Kramer.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Dennis. A luncheon will follow the burial at Berea Baptist Church, 28 Fleet Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org
