Tracey Jean White's Obituary
Tracey Jean White passed from this world on October 13, 2024. Tracey was born on July 22, 1970, the youngest daughter of Tom & Helen Wealton of Ishpeming Michigan. Tracey was a 1988 graduate of Ishpeming High School. Following graduation, she enlisted in the United States Navy. She was stationed at the Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, South Carolina where she met the love of her life and soulmate Michael White.
Tracey and Mike were married on December 15, 1989. Together they raised their son Devin, and welcomed into their family their daughter-in-law Deanna and grandchildren Jace and Emma.
Tracey had a great love of music. She had a beautiful singing voice, just like her Mom. She also was a huge animal lover. She seemed to understand animals. She had a way with them. Tracey & Mike welcomed many fur babies into their home over the years, along with birds, reptiles and other pets. Tracey had a great sense of humor. Her family was the center and core of her life, and she loved them with all of her heart. She and Mike had many fun adventures together and with their family. She enjoyed returning to Michigan when she could, to be with her parents, local relatives and friends, and to spend time on the Dead River Basin.
Tracey held a variety of positions in varying businesses over the years. Tracey worked for many years as an office manager for Dr. Cohen, keeping his office running smoothly and his patient logs in order. She obtained a degree in business from American Intercontinental University with honors. After Dr. Cohen closed his practice, Tracey retired and was able to spend quality time with her grandchildren and her family.
Tracey is survived by her husband Michael, son Devin (Deanna), grandchildren Jace & Emma, parents Thomas & Helen Wealton, sisters Coleen (Tim) Pepin and Kelly (Joe) Baird, her in-laws Marvin & Shirley White, sister-in-law Teresa (James) LeBlond, and brother-in-law Chris White along with many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.
