Timothy Michael Veltoven's Obituary
Timothy “Tim” Michael Veltoven, 52, of Culpeper, VA passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1971 to the late Martin and Karen Sue Veltoven.
Tim was an avid fisherman. He loved to be on a boat somewhere with a fishing rod in his hand. Tim enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers. Tim always loved spending time at Colonial Beach. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and talking to whomever pasted by. Always making a friend. He loved speaking with his sister every day. Tim enjoyed tree work and landscaping.
Tim is survived by his sister, Teresa Shifflett and her husband, Greg; niece Ashley Keiser; nephew, Travis C. Shifflett; great niece, Moana K. Kieser; great nephew, Mickey Kieser; aunts, Freda Abrams and her husband Joe; Victoria Wimmer; fiancé, Raina Weakley and her grandchildren, Kali and Peanut Simon; friends, Steve Smoot, Tina Straight, Quienten White, and Casey Greene; and a host of extended family and friends.
Special Thanks to Tim Bennett, Tim’s childhood friend who was like a brother for always being there.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, VA.
