Timothy Edward McKenzie's Obituary
Timothy Edward McKenzie, 43, of Reva went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the University of VA Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1969 in Portsmouth, VA to Barbara Lewis McKenzie and the late Edward McKenzie.
Tim was a member of Alum Spring Baptist Church. He loved fishing and had a great passion for history focusing on the times of George Washington and the Civil War. He was an avid Redskins and Capitols fan and was known as a man who would work his hardest so he could get home to ‘his girls’. More than anything, Tim loved his family and will be greatly missed by them and all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Susan McKenzie and their children, Sara and Sydney McKenzie, all of Reva; one brother, Brent McKenzie and his wife, Michelle of Manassas and a number of extended family, friends and loved ones too numerous to list all of whom loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Young officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brent McKenzie, Rick Young, Jason Patton, Steven “Woody” Woodyard, Frank Householder and John Morgan.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
