Timothy Leigh Gajewski's Obituary
Timothy “Tim” Leigh Gajewski, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home in Spotsylvania, Virginia. He was born on January 26, 1982 in Washington D.C. to the late John Joseph Gajewski and Sally Neale Valentino.
After high school, Tim began his career in IT, working for Businets Inc. and the University of Mary Washington help desk. During this time, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Mary Washington. Eventually, he moved his career to Dahlgren Naval Base, where he worked in Cyber Security and Information Systems Technology for the last 17 years.
Tim enjoyed ham radio, traveling, cooking, working on cars, and was an avid firearms enthusiast.
Tim is survived by his wife of 17 years, Megan Gajewski; and his son, Lucas Timothy Gajewski. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Joseph Gajewski; as well as numerous extended family members.
A private family service will be held on May 13, 2026.
