Timothy Jacob Curtis' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Timothy Jacob Curtis, 36, of Culpeper, VA. He passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 7, 2025. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.
Timothy Jacob Curtis, born during the early morning hours of June 16, 1988, to Joseph and Patricia Curtis in Culpeper, VA. As a child, he was your typical quirky, cute, friendly little boy who could be found playing with his matchbox cars for hours on end. His friendly and outgoing personality traits undoubtedly followed with him well into his adult years, as we’re sure many would agree. He never met a stranger. Timothy is also fondly remembered for his love and undying passion for all things music. He was an avid pianist in particular, who spent an unimaginable amount of time honing and perfecting his many God-given talents, which also included singing, songwriting, and even playing the guitar!
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Curtis; three sisters, Sarah-Jean Marie Curtis, Patricia Joy Curtis, and Jordan Michelle Curtis; one niece, Hailey Marie Stewart; three grandparents, Susan Pilkerton, Paul Pilkerton, and Marie Putnam; one great-grandparent, Irene Lange; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Timothy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Benjamin Franklin Curtis, Sr., and Jean Haught Gulley Kerns Beahm.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, with Pastor Benjamin Short officiating.
