Timothy J. Butler's Obituary
Timothy J. Butler, 51, of Spotsylvania County, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Timmy was a happy-go-lucky man and loved making everyone laugh. He was carefree and lived every day to the fullest. Timmy loved everybody and everybody loved him. He enjoyed pickin’ and grinnin’ bluegrass music with his friends and loved to ride his motorcycle. Timmy was a talented artist, and enjoyed making beautiful drawings for those he loved. He was a talented craftsman, making walking canes for friends and family in need. He was a member of The Patawomeck Tribe and the Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years. Timmy touched a lot of people throughout his life and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Whetzel, Jr.; and a sister, Misty Hicks.
Timmy is survived by his mother, Anna Carrington; a son, Christopher Frazier; a nephew, Jesse Hicks; his girlfriend, Trudy Stake, and her son, Trevor; a brother, Mark Raines; two uncles, Norman and Lewis Butler; numerous friends that he called sisters and brothers; and other loving extended family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will begin in the funeral home’s chapel at 3:00 p.m. Casual attire is requested by his family. A motorcycle procession will lead us to the Spotsylvania Eagles for a Celebration of Life immediately following the service.
The family would like to thank those that have helped them through the difficult time, as Timmy would say “Love you, mean it”.
