Timothy James Bova's Obituary
Timothy James Bova, 53, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Tim was born and raised in Malone, New York and graduated from Franklin Academy High School in 1976. He graduated from Plattsburgh State University in 1981 with a BA in business. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and Malone Lodge of Elks #1303 in Malone, New York.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports and spending time with his family.
Tim is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Beth Bova; his children, Christopher R. Bova and Alicia F. Bova, both of the home; his brother, Daniel T. Bova and his wife, Pauline of Malone, New York; his sister, Marilou A. Bova of Takoma Park, Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rita Bova.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial mass will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Tran officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 1902 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA.
