Tiahza Lioneil Green's Obituary
Tiahzá Lioneíl Green, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at University of Virginia Hospital. He was born December 7, 1982 in Culpeper Virginia to Barbara Pollard and Timothy Banks.
Tiahzá was a wonderful young man with a depth of character that was detected when you became a close friend to him. He possessed a strong and infectious love for life, his family, and his children, who meant the world to him. He was dedicated to bettering himself and being a good father and role model for his children. His hobby and passion was the sport of football. During the quiet hours, he studied the bible and page upon page of his writings and personal notes on the scriptures were found among his belongings. In spite of the mistakes mankind makes, Tiahzá found the answers to unresolved issues in his quest for knowledge of the Bible.
A lover of music and very artistic, Tiahzá also possessed a desire to travel. He has now made the most amazing trip and finalized his travel arrangements to his eternal resting place in Heaven. His final desire would be to meet all his family and friends in that new dwelling place.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by Odessa Fuller, grandmother, Daeshaeuna Nibblins, Jovonna Anderson, daughters, Tamiza Green and Tavon Green, son. Also surviving are Latitia Green, Sheena Green, Tychenica Green, and Erika Pollard, sisters; Sheina Lewis Katrina Utz, Shalandra Nibblins, step-sisters, Christopher Mallory, step-brother, Carmalita Green, niece; Lyndon Rankin, nephew; Anitra Johnson, Teri Taylor, Priscilla Taylor, and Tiffany Taylor, god-sisters. Aunts and uncles surviving are Teresa Banks, Janet Frye, Mattie Payne, David and Karen Marriner, and Clinton and Carolyn Banks, and Loretta Jenkins, Bonnie Johnson special aunt. In addition to family members, Tiahzá is also survived by a large number of friends. He is preceded in death by Robert L. and Mary M. Green, grandparents.
A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Found and Sons Chapel at 2 pm with The Rev. James Mack officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
