Thomas Garland Shortridge's Obituary
Thomas Garland Shortridge, 61, of Culpeper died Friday, September 12, 2008 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. He was born January 19, 1947 in Clintonville, West Virginia to the late Garland Shortridge and Frances Gipson Shortridge.
He was a loving and devoted father, he had special love of God and was very active in the Culpeper Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Shortridge is survived by two children, John Thomas Cooper and his wife, Lisa, and Joyce Sara Brown and her husband, Frederick. He is also survived by four sisters, Joann Downer, Judy Boggess, Brenda McGuire and Donna Knowles, and six brothers, Jack, Dave, Gene, James and Jerry Shortridge and Glen Mace.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Benny Shortridge, and a sister Linda Smith.
