Thomas Shackelford's Obituary
Thomas Kirby Tommy Shackelford, 65, a native of Fredericksburg, passed away at his home, Sunday, August, 10, 2008.
He was born in Fredericksburg to the late Joseph and Carrie Shackelford.
He retired from Virginia Power as a boiler room operator.
Tommy was a member of Eastland United Methodist Church where he was a former lay leader and a trustee.
He is survived by several first cousins, Catherine S. Siock, Robert E. Sebastian, III. and his wife, Laura Lee, Betty E. Sebastian and her husband, Michael Trivitt, David Boulware and his wife, Mary Pat, Michael Boulware, and his wife, Sue, Joe Boulware, and his wife Kathleen, Greg Boulware, Roy Smith, Wanda Smith and Sue Lally; and numerous extended family members.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 7-9 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Paige A. Young officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
