Thomas Edward Jenkins' Obituary
Thomas Edward “Red” Jenkins, 81, of Culpeper died on Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1936 in Woodville to the late Thomas Earl and Tennie Butler Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bertha Dodson Jenkins; three children, Henry Ray Jenkins and his wife, Sheila, Debra Jenkins Inskeep, and Eddie Roy Jenkins and his wife, Shelley; two brothers, Thomas Earl Jenkins, Jr. and Franklin Kyle Jenkins; seven grandchildren, Chad Jenkins, Tennie Burak, Bryan Jenkins, Jason Inskeep, Julie Steele, Austin Jenkins and Savannah Jenkins; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. Jenkins and William Walker Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lanny Horton officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Inskeep, Chad Jenkins, Bryan Jenkins, Austin Jenkins, Kyle Jenkins, Kemper Steele, Tyler Burak and Allen Tuel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to DaVita Culpeper Dialysis, 430 Southridge Pkwy, Culpeper, VA 22701.
