Thomas K. Freeman III, beloved son, husband, father, and brother, passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on November 2, 1967, to the late Ruby Louise Philpot and Thomas K. Freeman Jr.
Tom was a loving husband to Kelly Freeman for 22 years, a devoted father to Cheyanne and Austin Freeman, and a caring brother to Matthew Freeman.
Tom's life revolved around his family, whom he cherished above all else. He found immense joy in spending time with his children, who were his pride and joy. An avid bowler and stamp collector, Tom also had a passion for sports. His love for NASCAR races was no secret he loved going to the local raceway.
Known for his compassionate nature, Tom was always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need, often engaging in heartfelt conversations with homeless individuals with hopes of making their day brighter.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A celebration to honor Tom's life will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Freeman family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
Tom leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
