Thomas Franklin Cubbage, Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas Franklin Cubbage, Sr., of Culpeper died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 69. Tommy was born on May 21, 1947 to the late Louie and Anna Cubbage of Culpeper.
He was self-employed as a subcontractor for C&P telephone company for many years. After retirement, Tommy enjoyed bringing laughter to his family and friends as well as spending lots of time working on his pride and joy, a 1971 Chevy Nova. He will deeply be missed by his family, friends, and all of those who knew him.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann; his two sons, Tommy Jr. and Gregory, both of Culpeper; and his daughter Kathy and her husband, Michael Howey of Madison. He is a grandfather to five loving grandchildren; grandson, Josh Howey and his wife, Elizabeth; and granddaughters, Logan Howey, Crystal Cubbage, Heather Cubbage, and Jessica Cooper. Additionally, he is a great grandfather to one great grandson, Luke Howey.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Anna Cubbage; and his two sisters, Katherine Cubbage Utz and Frances McCord.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Cubbage, Jr., Gregory Cubbage, Mike Howey, Josh Howey, Jimmy Baker and Ronnie Lee.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
