Theresa Jo Downs' Obituary
Theresa Jo Manuel Downs, 56, of Amissville, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA. She was born August 16, 1966 in Arlington Virginia to Donna K. Saunders Manuel and the late Joseph W. Manuel.
Theresa loved the Washington Redskins and Nascar. She had a huge heart. Theresa would give you the shirt off of her back. She was a great cook and loved to eat blue crabs. She especially loved her family and her grandkids.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Lauren Bragg (Michael); son, Donald “Ubi” Downs (Anna DeCrease); three grandchildren, Kaylie Bragg, MaKenzie Bragg and Logan Bragg; one brother, Joseph W. Manuel, Jr. (Christine); and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Anthony Manuel; her maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Melvin Saunders; and her paternal grandparents, Erlene and Bill Manuel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Chaplain Drew DeCrease officiating.
