Theresa E. Dowdy's Obituary
Theresa E. Dowdy, 68, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
When not spending time at her grandchildren’s sporting events or school activities, Theresa could be found sewing, in her ceramic shop, or trying her luck at bingo.
Theresa is lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne; her children, Sheila, Lynn, and Jimmy (Tracy); her brothers, Bruce, David, and Allan; her sisters, Pat, Beverly, and Donna; all of her wonderful nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren that filled her home with laughter and love, Alexander, Matthew, Emma, Nathan, Abigail, Noah, Brooke, Zachary, and Kayla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith; her brothers, Ronnie and Lenny; and her sister, Carol.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road. Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Spotsylvania, VA.
