Thelma Eileene Bales' Obituary
Thelma Eileene Bales, 83, of Culpeper died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 27, 1924 in Coffeeville, Kansas to the late Lyle Dunnwoody and Willemina Heit Dunnwoody.
Mrs. Bales was a wonderful mother, devoted grandmother and proud great grandmother and will be missed by them all.
She is survived by her three children, Melanie, Terry, and Janice, one brother Neal Dunnwoody, eight grandchildren, Brooks, Jason, Toby, Nicolas, Tanya, Zachary, Patrick, and Michelle, and two great grandchildren, Dustyn and Haley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. William Brooks Bales, her daughter Suzan and five siblings, Lyle, Jr., Wilma, Martha, Ruth and Wade.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bales name to Dementia Care Foundation 69531 213th St. Darwin, MN 55324.
