Thelma V. Hayden's Obituary
Thelma V. Hayden, 85 of Fredericksburg, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Woodmont Center.
Thelma is a member of the Massaponax Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved flowers and animals.
Thelma is survived by her husband of 64 years, Emmitt A. Hayden; two sons, Donald A. Hayden and his wife Amy of Fredericksburg and E. Darrell Hayden and his wife Nancy of Spotsylvania; her daughter-in-law Diane S. Hayden of Mechanicsville; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many cousins.
Thelma was preceded in death by her son David L. Hayden and her infant daughter.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg with the Rev. David Hockney officiating. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form or donations in Thelma’s name to the Massaponax Baptist Church, General Fund, 5101 Massaponax Church Rd., Fredericksburg, VA 22407
