Terry Lamont Minor
Terry Lamont Minor, 45 of Culpeper went to join his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. Terry was born on September 12, 1967 to Earl Bobby Minor and Josephine Walker Minor in Charlottesville, Va.
Terry was a member of the Free Union Baptist Church where he also served with the Men’s Choir, Men’s Ministry and was an Usher.
Terry is survived by his wife of 14 years Shannon Lawanda Minor and his mother in law and father in law, Mary and Lindell Veeney, Sr. his siblings; three brothers Joseph Walker and his wife Samantha, Earl Walker and Rev. Timothy Minor and his wife Beverly all of Culpeper, his two sisters; Devon Minor of Fredericksburg and Mary Minor of Culpeper.
Terry is also survived by his three brothers in laws; Lindell Veeney, Jr. and his wife Tamika, Travis Veeney and Justin Veeney. Also surviving are his two uncles, Walter and David Minor and eight nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Found and Sons funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Free Union Baptist Church, 219649 Mont Pony Road, Culpeper with the Rev. Dr. Calvin Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
