Terrance David Donnary Jr.'s Obituary
It is with great sadness to report that Terrance D. Donnary, Jr. passed away at his home in Fredericksburg, VA, May 18, 2021. Terry was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 29, 1946. He joined the U. S. Air Force and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. After many years of military service, Terry was employed by the CIA for a short period, then by the DIA for more than 20 years.
Terry was predeceased by his parents, Brother Daniel and Sister Jill. He is survived by his wife, Janet Lynn, his sister April and sister-in-law Robyn, as well as nieces and nephews. Terry’s many hobbies/interests included history, reading, music, classic movies, museums, golf, fishing, and travelling. Terry was a true patriot, an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, and The National Air & Space Museum.
A memorial fund has been established in Terry’s name: the Terrance D. Donnary, Jr. Memorial Fund For the Benefit of Military Veterans. This Fund will honor and perpetually keep alive the memory of Terry. It serves to honor his years of dedicated service to his country, and will benefit veterans through its annual grants.
Terry’s ashes will be interred in the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery – date: TBD
