Sylvia Carol Jansen's Obituary
Sylvia Carol Jansen, 86, of Culpeper, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2019. Mrs. Jansen was born in Petersburg, NY, on July 10, 1933.
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as, a faithful member of Heritage Baptist Church in Brandy Station.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Jansen; her parents, George Phillips, Florence O’Dell; and her stepfather, Henry O’Dell.
She leaves behind her daughters; Lisa Smith of Culpeper, VA, Lynn Domer (Doug) of Bella Vista, AR, Lauri Fincham (Bruce) of Culpeper, VA; her grandchildren, Erin Pfleegor (Michael), Damon Domer (Christina), Kalah Domer, Amber Henderson (Nick), Foster Fincham, Evan Fincham, and Ben Fincham; and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Ridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA with Bruce Fincham officiating.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 19343 Carpenters Branch Rd., Brandy Station, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Heritage Baptist Church Building Fund, 19343 Carpenters Branch Rd., Brandy Station, VA 22714.
